I had a truly positive experience completing the Education Assistant course at Coastal College of BC. The program was not only informative and well-structured, but also incredibly supportive for students preparing to work in real educational settings.
One of the most impactful parts of my journey was the guidance I received from Michelle and the rest of the instructional team. Michelle, in particular, provided profound and lifelong guidance that went beyond the course material. Her encouragement, patience, and genuine dedication to student success made a huge difference in my confidence and growth. She always took the time to ensure we understood concepts deeply and felt prepared for real-world situations.

I’ve had such a great experience with Coastal College and their Educational Assistant program. The enrollment process was super easy and straightforward, which made getting started stress-free.
If you’re genuinely passionate about this career path and can stay focused and manage your time, you will succeed here. The teachers are amazing and very supportive.
As a single parent of a 4-year-old, working, taking care of three pets, and balancing a really busy and sometimes unpredictable schedule, this program has been incredible for me. I’m learning so much and actually succeeding, which I’m really proud of.
The instructors respond quickly whenever I have questions, and I always feel supported. Huge shoutout to Michelle — she’s amazing. She’s helped me step outside my comfort zone, engage more, and really learn in ways I wasn’t used to. There have been times I’ve been late on assignments, but when I communicate clearly, she’s always understanding and works with me.
Honestly, this has been the best school experience I’ve ever had.
