Kirpaul recently retired after a distinguished 30-year career with the SD 36 Surrey school district, where she made significant contributions as a teacher, vice principal, and ultimately, as a principal at Fraser Wood Elementary in the Fraser Heights area. Her career was marked by a deep commitment to working collaboratively with families and school teams to address the unique needs of each child, creating a nurturing and supportive educational environment.
Kirpaul's academic background is robust, with a Bachelor's degree, a teaching certificate, an ESL certificate, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Design. Her dedication to continuous learning is further demonstrated by her participation in numerous educational conferences covering a broad range of topics.
Outside of her professional life, Kirpaul enjoys practicing yoga, walking, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Lola. Her passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their educational goals remains a driving force in her life.
With over 15 years of dedicated teaching experience, Jas brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for education to her role. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in History and Education and a Master’s in Education degree, she combines academic expertise with a profound understanding of diverse learning needs.
Jas has spent her career in one of British Columbia's largest school districts, where she has excelled as both a classroom teacher and a resource teacher. Her experience includes working closely with vulnerable students, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and personally.
Outside of the classroom, Jas enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s always eager for new adventures and embracing opportunities to explore and learn outside of her professional life.
